Our Favorite Trails For Spring Runs
Our Favorite Trail Runs
Spring is here and we’re itching to get out on the trails and log some miles.
That got us thinking about our favorite trail runs, so we asked our in-house athletes to share their favorite spots to Train, Play, and Explore.
Brian McDonell, Co-founder & President
"I love the flat start into the crazy vertical through the hills and the way the fog settles into the valley on an early session. Feels like running in the clouds."
Nathan Onesian, Ecommerce
"Incline flume is a great out-and-back run with scenic views of Lake Tahoe. It's a perfect way to get out, connect with nature, and log some miles for you and your dog."
Kevin Smith, Performance Marketing
"Good mix of elevation gain, lake views, and great overlooks at the top."
Ryan Munsey, Marketing
"I love the route for several reasons: Easy access, not crowded, great views, and it’s the perfect out and back length for an hour long run with as much elevation change as I can get. My runs need to prepare me for the Rockies, so I’m always looking for maximum elevation change and minimal crowds."
Andy Straight, Community

"For north county San Diego, this is one of the most intense and steepest trails around. I love coming here to run this trail because it's a serious work out to get up the steep and pushes me into a state of mental clarity in getting to the top. Oh and the 360 degree views are some of the best in SD! I like to park at the dirt lot off San Elijo Rd next to the Fire Station and there's a few routes to the top, with varying difficulty & steepness. Get out there and have more fun!"
